Brigadier General Min Min Tun, former 101st Division commander, is captured by TNLA. This the highest ranking person to be captured in the 1027 Operation in Northern Shan State.
Gen Min Min Tun is a graduate of the 40th intake of DSA. After the military coup in August 2022, he was appointed as the commander of the 101st Division based in Pakokku.
After that, in September, he arrived at the frontline Division Command (101), which was settled in Namhsan, North Shan State.
During his tenure as the commander of ground operations in Nam San, Ta An region, his troops committed countless war crimes. His startling confession of war crimes is a moral blow to the SAC, and a call for all military soldiers to stop serving the murderous generals.
